花心 - What the song means

I find that after my tutor has explained the lyrics of the song to me, I am able to remember the lines better and I can appreciate the song at a deeper level. I am beginning to appreciate the beauty of the Chinese language in the expression of so much emotions in just so few words. Below is the meaning of the song. The choice of words reflect both my feelings and my need to be able to remember the way the characters are written and to enable me to transfer this knowlege in another context.
